A Powerful VR Experience Highlighting Women’s Voices

Draw for Change: We Exist, We Resist is an immersive VR experience that follows six female cartoonists from around the world, using their art to challenge societal injustices and advocate for women’s rights. The project blends 360° video, animation, and interactivity, giving players the opportunity to step into the lives and struggles of these courageous women.

One of the key stories in this experience follows Maremoto, a young Mexican cartoonist, as she navigates the dangers of sexual harassment and violence against women in Mexico. With an estimated ten women murdered daily in the country, the project brings attention to the resilience and determination needed to resist oppression.

Imaginary Globe contributed to this project by handling the rigging and animation of the player’s hands, ensuring smooth and natural movement that enhances the VR experience.
